SYPNOSIS:

At 2:00 p.m. today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 235 kms Northwest of Coron, Palawan (14.0°N 119.0°E). Moderate to strong southwesterly surface windflow prevailing over the western section of Luzon and Visayas.

FORECST:
The western sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms becoming widespread rains over Palawan which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. Mindanao and the rest of Southern Luzon and Visayas will have mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms while the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao with moderate to rough seas. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the southwest and south with slight to moderate seas except during thunderstorms.
