SYPNOSIS:

At 2:00 PM today, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 360 kms East of Bicol region (14.0°N, 128.0°E). Another Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 1,210 kms East of Luzon (17.2°N, 134.7°E). Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Visayas and Mindanao.

FORECAST:

The Eastern section of Luzon, the whole Visayas and Mindanao will have mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the Northeast and North will prevail over Luzon and coming from the Northwest to Southwest over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate except during thunderstorms.
