SYPNOSIS:

At 2:00 a.m., today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 350 km West of Central Luzon (15.0°N, 116.5°E). Meanwhile, the Shallow Low Pressure Area (SLPA) was estimated at 400 km Northeast of Visayas (13.9°N, 128.6°E).

FORECAST:

Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms while the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.

Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the southwest and south will prevail over Luzon with moderate to occasionally rough seas. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the southwest and northeast with slight to moderate seas except during thunderstorms.
