SYPNOSIS:

At 2:00 a.m. today, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 470 kms East of Northern Luzon (18.3°N; 127.3°E). Another Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 440 kms Northwest of Mindoro (14.0°N; 116.0°E).

FORECAST:

The whole country will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms becoming cloudy with widespread rains over the Western section of Southern Luzon and Western Visayas which may trigger flashfloods and landslides.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Southwest will prevail over Southern Luzon and Western Visayas with moderate to rough seas. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate blowing from the Southwest with slight to moderate seas except during thunderstorms.
