SYPNOSIS:

At 2:00 p.m., today, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 430 km West of Central Luzon (15.2°N, 115.7°E). Meanwhile, a Shallow Low Pressure Area (SLPA) was estimated at 420 km Northeast of Visayas (13.9°N, 129.3).

FORECAST:

The western section of Central Luzon will experience cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rainshowers and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. The rest of Central Luzon, Southern Luzon and the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao will have mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms while the rest of the country will be having partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.
