SYPNOSIS:

At 2:00 a.m., today, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 330 km West of Central Luzon (14.9°N, 116.9°E). Another Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 550 km East of Visayas (12.8°N, 131.1°E).

FORECAST:

The Western sections of Northern and Central Luzon will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms becoming widespread rains over the Western section of Central Luzon which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. The rest of the country will have mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Southwest will prevail over Luzon and Visayas with moderate to rough seas. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the Southwest and Southeast with slight to moderate seas except during thunderstorms.
