SYPNOSIS:

At 2:00 PM today , the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 1,010 kms East of Virac, Catanduanes (13.8°N 134.7°E). Southwest Monsoon affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

FORECAST:

Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms becoming widespread rains over the Western sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. The rest of Luzon will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Southwest will prevail over Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao with moderate to rough seas. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the Southwest and South with slight to moderate seas.
