SYPNOSIS:

At 2:00 p.m. today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 520 kms. East of Northern Luzon (17.7°N, 127.6°E).

FORECAST:

The Eastern section of Luzon, the whole Visayas and Mindanao will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the Northeast to Northwest will prevail over Northern Luzon and coming from the Southwest over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate except during thunderstorms.
