SYPNOSIS:

At 2:00 p.m. today, the Shallow Low Pressure Area (SLPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 210 kms East of Central Luzon (16.2°N 124.6°E).

FORECAST:

Southern Luzon, the western section of Central Luzon and Western Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rainshowers and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. The rest of the country will have mostly cloudy skies with scattered rianshowers and thunderstorms.

Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over Southern Luzon and the western section of Central and Northern Luzon and Western Visayas with moderate to occasionally rough seas. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate blowing from the southwest with slight to moderate seas except during thunderstorm.
