Tropical Disturbance 97W (LPA) has started losing convection during the past 6 hours...currently located near lat 15.5N lon 141.9E...or about 385 km NW of Guam...with 1-min maximum sustained winds of 40 kph near the center...moving North @ 17 kph. This system may develop into a Tropical Cyclone within the next 24 hours.
